Catching up

I'm playing catch up and finishing posting some photos from the end of October and beginning of November.
Our friends Marion and Olivier, from Paris, were visiting Atlanta for a few days so Olivier could attend the national conference for the American Association of Opthalmologists. We loved having them at our house for a few days! Their English is so good, its as if they never left. Here we are at their last American meal of Five Guys hamburgers before they flew home.

While Marion was here she did a small trunk show to show some of the items from her line Petits Parisiens
Here is a bowling set that she recently created, which Liam LOVED!!

A balloon hat made by Balloon Guy Mike at the Pottery Barn Kids grand opening.  Evan was wearing a Buzz t-shirt (Georgia Tech's mascot) so Mike made this hat for Evan.  Evan wore it all day.

We have 2 trees in front of the house that turn a brilliant red and one turns a brilliant red in the fall.  Evan helped Daniel rake leaves one Saturday.

My sister Erin came to visit for a few days at the beginning of November and we found out that Wendy's was having free give-a-ways at Atlantic Station one afternoon as a part of their "Great Taste Tour". We enjoyed a free Coke Zero and a hamburger. When we made a donation to the Dave Thomas Foundation
we also got a frosty. I had never heard of this foundation, but am glad to know about it now as the the possibility of adopting a child in the future is something that Daniel and I have thought about. This foundation works to help get children who are in foster care in the U.S adopted. Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy's, was adopted from foster care himself.

Sunny skies and weather that keeps you outside all day- that was at the beginning of November.  Daniel got off work a little early and we took Evan and Liam to the Peachtree-Dekalb Airport playground one afternoon. Perfect.
